Acoustic Office is an instrumental ensemble that combines eclectic styles of music with thunderous virtuosity. Our music is a fusion of different cultures, rhythms, melodies, and emotions, combined with American sentiment. Get to Know Us
Even though Acoustic Office is new to the music scene, it has a rich history of music performances. Our Grammy nominated members are made up of talented international musicians who create an exciting and entertaining performance that is sure to move and delight all audiences. The band has a core of musicians that includes Ricardo Ochoa on violin, Assaf Gleizner on piano, Marc Chesanow, bass and Uri Zelig on drums

ASSAF GLEIZNER, piano
Born and raised in Israel, Grammy nominated Assaf Gleizner has been working as a composer, music director, orchestrator/arranger and pianist both in NYC and around the world for the past 15 years. He's a member of BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop and Founder and Artistic Director of the organization, Arts for Immigrants.
His most notable projects are composing and orchestrating the Off-Broadway and International tour hits The Office the Musical and Friends the Musical, Orchestrating and Arranging Steven Schwartz’ 70th birthday concert at Broadway theatre, the Hudson Theatre, featuring Ben Platt and Renee Fleming, and Orchestrating and Arranging the Arts For Autism concert at Broadway theatre, the Gershwin Theater, featuring Kelly O'Hara & Christopher Jackson.
He has also Arranged, Orchestrated, and Produced many albums including the Grammy Nominated Move on: A Sondheim Adventure Jazz Album with world renowned Jazz artist, Cyrille Aimee.

RICARDO OCHOA, Violin

Ochoa originally moved to Savannah in January of 2000 and has been an active member of the artistic community, collaborating with visual artists, poets, writers and actors on multiple occasions. He is currently principal second of the Savannah Philharmonic and was co-founder of the national act Velvet Caravan. Currently, he is working on the production of the band Collective Soul’s next album, composing and arranging all the orchestral parts. He is also co-owner of New Arts Ensembles, which provides live music for special events throughout the region. In 2020 he became a restaurateur co-owning the Sea Wolf Tybee. These days he also enjoys helping his wife with her business TIMS Bikes, Beach & Disc Golf.
MARC CHESANOW, Bass
Marc Chesanow holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Memphis in addition to a Bachelor’s Degree from the Eastman School of Music in Double Bass performance. He has studied with world-renowned soloist James VanDemark, John Chiego from the University of Memphis, Louis Kosma from the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, James Clute from the Minnesota Orchestra as well as others. Currently residing in Savannah, Georgia, Marc is currently Acting Principal Bass with the Savannah Philharmonic and also can be seen performing with The Hilton Head Symphony as well as the Charleston Symphony as well as regular performances at jazz venues such as the Good Times Jazz Bar and The Jazz Corner. Marc was formerly on the faculty of Coastal Carolina University and was the program coordinator for music at Southeastern Community College. Prior to this, he was Music Director for Legends in Concert in Myrtle Beach. and performed with the Long Bay Symphony. An avid jazz musician, Marc has studied jazz bass with Rufus Reid, Michael Moore, and Tim Goodwin as well as jazz composition with Rayburn Wright and Bill Dobbins. His arrangements have been performed by the Long Bay Symphony, Charleston Symphony, and the Savannah Philharmonic. In 1993, Marc was awarded a Grammy award in the Student Jazz/Big Band category. Marc has performed with many artists including Tom Scott, Wycliffe Gordon, Rod Stewart, Bernadette Peters, Isaac Hayes, Maureen McGovern, Eddy Arnold, the Marvelettes, Joel Grey, Tommy Tedesco, The Moody Blues plus many others.
URI ZELIG, drums
Born in Tel-Aviv, Israel, Uri started playing drums at the age of 10. After moving to New York City in 2012, he graduated from The New School For Jazz and Contemporary Music with honors and have been busy working as a musician around the country since.
Over the last decade, Zelig held the lead drum chair for hit Off-Broadway parody musicals such as 'Friends! The Musical', 'The Office! The Musical'.
Uri currently plays with Jazz greats Terry Waldo, Art Baron, Vince Giordano, Saul Rubin, Bill Crow, Bruce Barth, George Cables, Ed Polcer and frequently performs at some of NYC's legendary venues such as Birdland, Zinc Bar, Arthur's Tavern and The Cutting Room to name a few.
